Description
Byteling is a cozy pixel pet that really talks back. On most iPhones the built-in Cozy Brain answers with lines we wrote, offline and without an AI model; on an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, Apple Intelligence can write the replies on the device. No conversation leaves the phone.
Care for it, talk to it, send it on little trips and show it real things with the camera. It never dies, and in the default Cozy mode nothing turns into punishment. Each Byteling has its own room, workshop and memories.
Features
- Five Bytelings, each with its own voice and a workshop only it can run
- Two brains: the offline Cozy Brain (every iPhone) or Apple Intelligence on the device — a line under the chat field always says which one answers
- Little trips that bring home treasures, toys and postcards — the longer the trip, the more supplies (1 to 6)
- An endless match-3 from the very first trip: no lives, no energy, no boosters for sale
- More little games from toys found on trips: memory pairs, snack catching, a claw machine, a dice game and Paths & Slides
- A Codex of 156 everyday things to show with the camera, recognised on the device
- 15 special places around the world, a room to decorate, a Home Screen widget, a mailbox
- Code-drawn pixel art down to every button; English and German throughout
- Crisis help in every brain, even while the Byte is away: a real helpline for 32 countries, never an AI model’s guess
History
Built by one person at TehutStudio, with an AI pair-programmer for code and design. The conversation is the heart of the pet — and for most players it runs on replies written by hand.
